Ben and I had different flights from New Delhi to Kathmandu. We didn't know that until right before we left, oops. It was a bit of a bummer that we were flying separate, to be honest. And he didn't send me any of our Airbnb information before I left, so I had to wait at the airport for 5 hours for him to come.
20 minutes after his flight was supposed to land, the bags started to come out on the conveyor belt, so I found his big red bag and held onto it while I waited for him to come down the escalator. He didn't come down for about 20 or so minutes after that; I started getting worried.
We stayed with a nice lady, and her Airbnb was only about 1 mile away, so we just walked from the airport. We showered, ate dinner, and just chilled once we got there. I took my dreads from out in the shower, which felt great even though I lost a bunch of hair, haha.

Not too bad, honesty. A bit spice-y and salty. |

Walking from the airport to our Airbnb. Just a bunch of trash off the side of the road in a big field. |
Man, there's nothing quite as crazy as arriving in the Kathmandu Airport. You're placed in a completely new world where you can't communicate with the people around you, and its jarring.
