I got breakfast alone this morning.  It’s kind of funny; Ben goes to Cafe 17 every morning, because the wifi is fast, and I go to Flying Spirit, because the owner is a humble guy and makes good food for a cheap price.

Ben and I went to the ear piercing place again, because his earring fell out because it was too big to close when he first got it.  His ear was kind of swollen and it seemed painful.

Trying to fix Ben's helix piercing; without luck.

A lot of people at the school recommended that if we don’t have any specific plans, we should look into hiking!  We decided we are going to hike the Annapurna Circuit.  We walked to some kind of trekking office and got 1/2 permits: the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP), it was about Rs.2000 ($19.30).

One of my permits: ACAP.
I love that they spelled my name "Xachary"

On our way home we saw a monkey that was playing nicely with a shop owner and appeared to be a nice guy (he even had a pierced ear!).  I asked the shop owner if I could feed him some of my Snickers and he said sure.  I offered a piece of it to the monkey and he picked it up, looked at it, dropped it, AND BIT MY FINGER.  It didn’t really hurt, I'd describe it as if a baby bit your finger?   Everyone who saw it happen laughed.  Ben jokingly said, "you know that 90% of monkeys have AIDS right?".  I knew that percentage was probably high, but I knew it was possible.
We went to the local "pharmacy" and they had some antibiotic stuff but said we should visit the hospital because it is possible it had a disease and could become a problem.  Kusum (our renter) let us use his motorcycle and we rode to the hospital.
I told them what happened and the doctor recommended giving me a tetanus shot, ointment, and some pills.  I didn't want to question him because he is a doctor, but I felt like a tetanus shot wasn't the appropriate thing to do in this situation?  It was only Rs.18 ($0.17), so I guess I wasn’t mad?

The monkey who bit me was scared of Ben's skateboard, ha ha loser!
Here he is hiding from it

My monkey bite, hahaha

Inside: medication I was prescribed + doctor's notes.?

Some nice lady we met by the lake from Tibet.
She showed us her jewelry

Tom invited me to a billiards bar with his friends so I went and watched them play!
I’ve never seen people play billiards before; I guess it’s different from pool?  All of the tables were bigger than normal pool tables and some of them only had red balls and a cue ball.  Others had the traditional colors?

Billiards bar?
Nepali music was faintly playing and most people were smoking.
Impressive watching them play, though.

We came home and he cooked us some noodles and eggs.  He's such a nice guy, and the way he makes it so good hahaha

Tom's noodles & eggs > anyone else's noodles & eggs
