Today Marko gave Ben a “helix piercing”, which is a piercing at the top of his ear?  It’s a little dog earring that we found in a shop nearby.

Before we left on our trek, Marko introduced us to his friend Peter Curd, who just opened a bar in Pokhara called The Blind Tiger!  He explained the story behind the name to us: a "speakeasy" was a place that would sell alcoholic drinks in the 1920s-30s (during the prohibition era; when alcohol was banned).  People also called them Blind Pigs and Blind Tigers.  He said he thought Blind Tiger sounded better than Blind Pig, haha.
He's a really cool guy: got lots of interesting stories, life advice, long hair, and a good attitude.  When we asked him where he's from, he said it's hard to answer: he was born in Australia and lived there until he was 14 years old (+/- a year or two?), then he moved to England until he was 18 years old.  When you're growing up, years 0-14 obviously play a big roll in who you are as a person, but so do the later years of 14-18.

We hung out here yesterday when we made the "cookies".  Pete knows a lot of people, people stop by all the time just to say hello, especially that he's just opened the bar; we've met lots of new people.

Some interesting Pringles I saw at the store...
I didn't buy them, kind of wish I did.

Ben and I found out none of our new friends have ever had no bake cookies!  We went out and bought some of ingredients to make some of these delicious treats: peanut butter, oats, cocoa powder (our friend Isis supplied this), butter, and milk (thanks Pete).

We made a small batch of them, but failed somehow, and they didn't really maintain their shape.  Our second batch was more successful, and gave them to our friends who were hanging out at Pete's.  We all just played cards, talked, and snacked a bit.  With what we had left, we made another batch and gave them to Peter and asked him to try and sell them over the next day or so, hahaha.

Making some no bake cookies in our kitchen.

Marko, Ben, and I went to a little cafe and ate some balls of boiled dough?  They were kind of like momos but a bigger and no veg inside, you can also dip them into curry.
I thought they were super good: I had like four hahaha.
