Welcome!

Last year my friend Ben McCombie and I went on a trip to India for 2 1/2 weeks. We went to skate some of the skateparks throughout the country: we visited New Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, and Goa.

Ben's sister, Maryn, had helped at an orphanage in Pokhara, Nepal about 9 months before we went to India and had told Ben how cool it was there. We knew Nepal wasn't very far away from where we were, so we decided to take a plane up to Kathmandu, Nepal just for fun. We stayed there for a total of 5 weeks and I'd like to share some information/stories about what our daily lives looked like while we were out there: I wrote in my journal everyday so the following posts are based off those entries.

Feel free to comment, share, or just read. Thank you :)

Ben and I had different flights from New Delhi to Kathmandu.  We didn't know that until right before we left, oops.  It was a bit of a bummer that we were flying separate, to be honest.  And he didn't send me any of our Airbnb information before I left, so I had to wait at the airport for 5 hours for him to come.

20 minutes after his flight was supposed to land, the bags started to come out on the conveyor belt, so I found his big red bag and held onto it while I waited for him to come down the escalator.  He didn't come down for about 20 or so minutes after that; I started getting worried.

This morning, Ben and I got coffee and momos, and he bought some pants on the street.

It got a bit cold last night, but nothing that I lost too much sleep over.
We woke up at about 6AM, packed up, and got on a bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara (8 hours).
The bus ride wasn't too bad; the mountains were pretty, we met some kids a few years older than us that were from Australia, and Ben and I sat in the back of the bus so we could "sprawl out" (even though it sucked because it was bumpy, haha).
