"Welcome to Pokhara" street art |
I got my nose pierced right before I came to Nepal and I have not told my family yet in "fear" they would be mad. I FaceTimed them this morning and covered my nose ring with a Band-Aid, and when they asked about it I told them I fell when I was skating; of course they were suspicious.

Not suspicious. |
Pippen (boy) was riding the skateboard and Bipana (girl) stole it from him.
He didn't like that.

When we first arrived, they had just started taking down this building. Eventually it was knocked down completely. I wish I had taken a photo everyday, unfortunately I only did this one time. |

A quick snooze in the fabric shop |
Ben and I went to the skatepark but they wanted us to pay Rs.100, even though we had read online that it was for free? So we didn’t stay.
We walked around town a little bit, and sat by Phewa Lake. There are so many dogs all around town, and most of them are nice and will let you pet them. It's good because they just want some love and that's all I have to give.

Playing a card game on the shore (They rented canoes/boats to people. They didn't even look at me when I walked up though. Too invested in the game, I guess.) |

We'd see people would take their canoes out on the lake, it looked so fun. |

This cool embroidery guy we met: he embroidered this couple's faces onto a shirt for them! We became friends with him and we would always wave to each to each other |

shreddin' it up at the Pokhara Skatepark
When Ben's sister was here about like 10 months before us, she met this guy named Marko and told Ben about him and how he was a real cool guy (he's from the UK and is a tattoo artist out here). We were walking on the street and saw him in a tattoo shop and Ben freaked out and explained who he was.
We became friends and he invited us to his house in the hills! The walk up there was very pretty. Kind of cool to leave town and go into the hills? We hung out with his rabbits (called Aba and Ama) and the neighbor kids, had tea, and talked about meditation.

Marko feeding his 1 of his 2 rabbits. He gave his neighbors (kid in the back + others) Rs.200 ($1.93) and told them to get some lettuce for the rabbits and to bring back the change. They bought the lettuce and themselves some candies with the change instead, hahaha |
