This morning I went to a shop by ours and rented some hiking boots for Rs.700 ($6.76), for a few days. I had to give the guy Rs.1000 ($9.95) and he'd return Rs.300 ($3.90) when I returned the boots (so I actually would return the boots).
Ben and I took a tuk-tuk to the bus park, and then hopped on a bus for Rs.250 ($2.44) for about 5 hours to a town called Besishahar (we pronounced it bessie-sha-har, may or may not be correct).
From Besishahar we took a different bus to Ngadi (pronounced nah-dee) for Rs.250 ($2.41) which was about 1.5 hours long.
It was dark when we arrived, so we are spending the night in Ngadi and officially starting our trek tomorrow morning. To be honest, we are kind of confused and don't exactly know what we're doing... hahahaha

The map we used. (We actually just took a photo on our phones and used our phones to navigate, haha) |

A lot of buses had stuff painted on them: Adidas stripes, Nike swoosh, Facebook logo, and random phrases. I think the improper English is so great. |
